2010 Chinese Scholars Garden Lecture and Guided Tour. Details
Come celebrate spring at Bayonet Farm. Barbara Tomlinson will provide an illustrated lecture about historical “Chinese Scholar’s Gardens” at Bayonet Farm. A fieldtrip to Snug Harbor on Staten Island to see an actual Chinese Scholars garden is also planned for a different week. The garden is one of the few formal gardens on the East Coast.
2010 Summer Children's Classes. Details
A couple of big old barns, some farmland, woods, a couple streams and a lot of fun classes for kids make Bayonet Farm the place to be this summer for budding artists, photographers, and naturalists. Class size is limited so don't wait!

7th Annual Arts and Music Festival
Sunday, September 12, 2010 from noon to 5 pm.
This year’s festivals returning judges for the en Plein Air and Juried Art Competitions is Holmdel gallery owner James Yarosh, and Peter Trippi, editor of Fine Art Connoisseur. The festival offers a unique mixture of fine arts, featuring many award winning artists’ works in a variety of mediums, from sculptures to paintings, to flame worked glass. Many of these exhibited artworks are available for purchase. There will also be live performances including music from the Colts Neck Swing Band, Latin music by Los Mas Valientes, Rock n’ Roll, the returning Celadon Youth Group performing Chinese music and dance, Kimisis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Youth Dance Troupe, and more. There are demonstrations of raku firing of pottery, pottery wheel, flame worked glass and other artistic activities for all ages. New this year is Yosi Kid’s Concert and Doodle Dude, who will be here for our younger visitors. The Arts and Music Festival is a great way to spend the day with the family!
